Keith had his change of command today and it was pretty cool. It was held in the Air Mobility Museum so there were lots of old planes.
This is Keith's boss, Sam Cox, for the next week. He was also Keith's boss in Charleston and is the one that pulled for Keith to get this command. He is such a great guy and really has a lot of respect and faith in Keith, it showed in his speech. I am going to try and post his speech, which I vidoed on myspace but it will have to wait until I get home and people smarter than me do it.
This is Keith getting his first salute from his squadron.

Here we are afterwards att he reception. It was very nice and the best part was I did not have to do anything! Congrats Keith......we are all so proud of you! Mostly because you are just a good guy no matter what.

Congratulations Dad!! We are so proud of you!! I know we couldn't be there today but we'll be thinking about you all day. We love you so much!!!
We went to Phildelphia today so I could go up the steps that Rocky did. It was crowded because of a walk they were having but I did go up the steps.

This beautiful statue is in front of the Philly Art Museum. Keith liked the eagle the best. We did not go to any of the historic stuff cause we wanted to go to a mall that had some shoes that Kyle wanted so we did that instead. Next time, we will do the liberty bell and stuff. We had a full weekend and it was fun but tomorrow will be a big day for Keith. Can't wait.

We went to Rehoboth Beach late last night to have dinner. We ate at the Doghead Brewery and Eatery. It was delish. Keith could not decide what beer he wanted so he tried them all!

This Gazebo was right by the ocean. It was dark but I did get to see the Atlantic and it felt good to hear the sounds again. It didn't smell real salty though, maybe that is a northern thing. Who knows! Off to a new adventure today.

I made it to Dover last night. It was a good trip and I saw lots of new stuff. Here is downtown Columbus, Ohio.
There were lots of rolling hills and farms once I went through east Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Here is a picture of a Christmas tree farm on a hill.
This is Wheeling West Virginia, it was a small town and the houses were on the side of the hills. Very neat. So far today, Keith and I have done a lot of shopping but hopefully we will make it to the beach tonight for dinner!

Kyle had a volleyball tournament today that lasted from 9:45 to 4:45. Here he is with his friend Curtis taking a break in between games.
They did win the tournament so it was worth the hard wooden seats we sat on all day long! Kyle also had some good hits, so it was fun to watch. Go Panthers!!!

Here is Christine's baby and it is a boy!!!!!!! We are so excited. Right now I am going to call him Jake until she comes up with a better name though I am not sure there is one. Of course, we have a little girl coming next week so that is really exciting. What a year! I will post pics of Liliana as soon as I have one.

Keith and I ate at a new place called the Red Robin. It does gourmet burgers. My burger pictured is a burger parmigiana. It had a fried mozzerella patty on top with sauteed onions and bellpeppers with red suace. It was one of the best burgers I've eaten. Keith had the Whiskey River BBQ burger and it looked good too. Dad, I thought about you and knew you would have liked the selection of gourmet burgers! Yum........

I had an Oklahoma City over night where I decided to call up an old friend. We ended up going to a bar and come to find out he's friends with the band Hinder. I was so star struck for a minute! But they were really cool and bought me drinks. This is me and Mike, one of the bandmembers. They were all so nice and treated me as a friend. I have their song as my ringtone on my phone, and they got a kick out of that. By the end of the night I was promising to come back and visit. It was a blast!!

Keith went to Dover the other day and saw the new apartment. He said it is small but quaint.

It is an apartment in this big mansion. Keith said the street is lined with beautiful victorian homes and a graveyard! He thinks this house is dated from the mid 1800's.

My brother, William, the television star! He was an extra on the show Friday Night Lights finale tonight as a cameraman. At first, I could not find him since I don't seem to know what my own brother looks like but when Kyle came home, he found him right away. William was holding the camera while the Panthers quarteback and coach are being interviewed. It was cool watching him and thank God for tivo!

Christine just sent me this picture of her and Brandy's dyed eggs for Easter. I am super impressed and want to dye eggs with them next year. These are the cutest eggs I have ever seen. I surely hope they were not pacqued! Though if they were, who won? I love you girls..

Happy Cold Easter! We are happy because Keith is back finally. We dyed eggs, one my favorite things about Easter.
We tried a new technique call Swirl Eggs and they were pretty but surely not what the box advertised.
Cara came late and made one of the prettiest eggs. We think she has done the swirl egg technique before or she is just a lot smarter than the rest of us. Hmmmmm....... Hope everyone has a great holiday.

Today I wore my Bama shirt since Kyle had another volleyball game. The other team was not so good so he did not play very much for JV but he got to play on Varsity today and won the last two points so it was pretty exciting! Go Panthers....

Keith and I went to Miami this weekend! Of course I am talking about Miami, OK. Probably not as exciting as the one in Florida. There was not really too much to take pictures of but we did eat really good. We ate a great breakfast at Hungry Harold's, juicy steaks at Montana Mike's and incredible barbeque at Charlie's Barbeque. For my vegetables I had fried okra and fried corn. Man, that might have been the best part! Harold, Mike and Charlie really know how to cook!
This is the Coleman Theater, built in 1929. Miami renovated the building and it is beautiful. As far as we could see, this was the only place of interest in Miami besides the casino and I wasn't letting Keith in one of those! But Keith did help me with a school project and for that it was a fantastic weekend.
