William came in this weekend and we attended a volleyball game of Kyle's. William took this terrific picture of Josh and Kyle after the game.
On Saturday, we went to the Arch to do a little sightseeing.
Kyle and William went up to the top of the Arch in the little pod. It was the perfect day to do it because they could see for miles.
That night we feasted upon a stuffed chicken and a roast. As you can see, Michelle is picking at the food just like her Aunt Jenna.
Keith just so happened to have a mission to the base this weekend so we also got to see him too. It was a great time and we were happy that William came and spent time with us before we moved.

Josh and I went on his first grocery shopping trip today. This is his bedroom in his new apartment. He is going to stay in IL and continue going to school here.
Dad, here he is with his squishy maker, we bought lots of cheese so he can now make squishys! For those that don't know, a squishy is a grilled cheese sandwich that has been squished in the squishy maker. Yum. Anyhoo, Josh is now living without parental supervision and we are going to miss him like crazy!

Monday night was Senior night at Volleyball. They called the parents up when they introduced all the seniors. We sure wished Keith could have been there cause for me it was so emotional. I can't believe my baby is a senior. Time is just moving so fast.
Unfortunately, the games did not go so well, but Kyle did make the paper again. This is the picture from the paper of him blocking the other teams shot. Somehow, Keith found this picture and sent it to us. Sometimes the internet is a grand instrument indeed!

This is the house Keith and I are moving into when I get to Delaware. At first, we thought we were going to move onto base housing but just recently Keith saw the benefits of getting away from the base. The house is a little bigger than I had planned on since it will be just us but that means plenty of room for people to visit!

On another subject, we did feel the 5.2 earthquake that hit this morning. Michelle, Josh and I all ran out into the hallway at 4:30 this morning wondering why our house was shaking. I thought a tornado was finally coming to get us. It was scary and weird. Hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storm and now an earthquake. I can't imagine what Mother Nature has in store for us next.

A couple of years ago I took my grandfather's dining room table and chairs. I didn't know what I was going to do with it at the time but I hate to see things disappear.
However, today, Michelle and I spent all day reupholstering the chairs with this new toile fabric and she is going to take the dining set and china cabinet with her to Indy when she moves there (which we don't talk about because it is too painful). I think the chairs look really good and we had a great day together working on it. As usual, we laughed a lot but it was fun to reminisce about times I spent at my grandparents house. I am blessed to have days like this.

I spent the weekend with my friend Leighton in Chicago, where he now lives. This is Lake Michigan with the city in the background. The weather was perfect for all the walking around we did.
Here I am with MJ at the United Center. One of my main goals in Chicago was to come see this statue for Kyle. It was cool and quite a lot of people were there to gawk along with me and Leighton.
The other main goal of mine was to see the Sears Tower. I have wanted to see this building for as long as I can remember. It took a lot of walking to get here but it was well worth it.
Along Michigan Ave, there is every store you can think of, however, we came across Niketown and it was huge. Three floors of everything Nike. They even had treadmills so a person could try on their running shoes and see if they ran well. It was quite a sight.
This is Harry Carary's Restaurant which is right next to Trump Towers. Mr. Caray is a very popular character here in Chicago. I like his picture on the brick wall even though I am not promoting alcohol, kids....

Volleyball season has started with a bang. Kyle has been doing very well and has the most kills in the St. Louis area.
They had their first loss yesterday but are still playing so much better this year than last. Most of their games have been very exciting and keep me on the edge of my seat. I did not take these pics but are courtesy of Curtis' dad. I will bring my camera soon though.
