Michelle and Riley are here! We have been taking lots of walks on the beach and as you can see, Riley loves it.

Opal is happy to have a friend for awhile and loves walking with Riley. We have been doing a whole lot of nothing and that is always relaxing.

My friend, Leighton, came visit me from Chicago last week. We did not do much, just went to movies, ate and walked the beach. It was very relaxing and great to see him again. The pics below are all his.

The morning of the Cooper River Bridge Run. It is a 10K over the big bridge.

there are about 40,000 who do this and I was worried about being trampled!

I was very happy to see the finish line. I walked it in about 2:30 and Keith ran it in about an hour. He did really well. We had a great time and want to do it again next year.

My friend, Scarlett, and I went paint our dogs on Saturday night. It was lots of fun but honestly, mine was one of the worst and Scarlett's was one of the best. Opal doesn't even have a mouth! But I can't wait to go again and paint something else.

I went down for Christine's birthday and we had a great time. Those children are incredibly precious.

Keith and I spend the weekend in Savannah's compliments of Michelle and John's gift certificate to a bed and breaksfast. This is us eating fried chicken at Paula Deen's. It was sooo good.

Even though it snowed, the weather turned out beautiful (as it usually does in the south) and we did a lot of walking. Here is Keith on a schooner that was made to look very old.

This is the outside of Paula's restaurant. We had a great time and can't wait to go back again.
