I went see Kyle in Lake Charles and we took a tour of my old house (above), school, hospital where I was born and baseball field where I spent a great portion of my time watching my brothers play ball. It was really neat to see these places after so long. The house used to be green so it is very different now but I still remember all the good times I had there.

Welcome to our world, Kiley Grace!
Christine had Kiley July 12 at 8:54. She is 6lbs 13ozs, 19 1/2 inches long and absolutely gorgeous. It is exciting to have another niece.

PaB is a proud grandpa.

This is the quilt I made for Kiley, my first baby quilt. Christine went with a bear theme for the room so it has lots of bears on it. I enjoyed making this for my niece and can't wait to make more of them (hint, hint). I am glad that I get to be here with Christine and enjoy the first couple of weeks of Kiley's life!

Keith and I went to Indy this past weekend to celebrate the blessing of Michelle and John's wedding. We had a really good time as we always do. We all took a carriage ride around downtown Indy while eating ice cream.
Michelle cooked a meal worthy of MaB. It was delish and we stuffed ourselves (which we did all weekend).

On Saturday night we grilled and ate with the in-laws. It was fun to hang with everyone on the 4th.

Sunday morning we went to mass where the blessing took place. It was a beautiful ceremony and again, Michelle looked gorgeous in her dress. John wore a suit this time and was very handsome.

Afterwards, there was a reception at a really old restaurant and it was wonderful. It was all of John's family and friends and some of Michelle's work friends. It was good to meet so many people. Unfortunately, we had to leave early to drive home. But it was a great weekend and I am looking forward to spending more time with my daughter and new son-in-law!
