Happy one week, Connor Benjamin. He is already looking different but oh so cute.

Now that I have Kyle at home, he was able to help me load a video of him being a blue boy. This was a while ago but still precious. Just press the arrow and it will go.

Bub was not scared before his surgery and he looked really cute.
Kyle came through his surgery with flying colors. There was a different tear in his shoulder that was bigger than the first. We don't know if the tear was new or had been there before. It was in the front of his shoulder so the dr. said it was a little more difficult to get to but was still able to do it orthoscopically (I have no idea if that is spelled correctly). Kyle was really funny after they gave him the drugs...he liked them a lot.
He is now back home recuperating. This recuperation will be longer than the last. He doesn't know it yet, but the dr. said he can't drive for 6 weeks. Ouch! And 3 months before he goes back to work and lots of rehab but he will persevere.

I was able to spend time with Connor today and he is so precious. I could have stayed all night just holding him. I cant wait to watch him grow and develop a personality all his own. Congratualtions again, Christine and Terry. Love yall...Brandy

Christine is a great little mama. Connor is so precious, I just want to eat him up.
I know Dad is happy to add another fantastic grandchild to his bunches already!
Connor made an appearance a couple of times. I think he is going to be a really calm sweetheart! Of course, that only means trouble when the teen years come around.....

On another note, I would like to say Bon Voyage to Michelle and John. They are going to Europe for vacation and I hope they have a great time. I can't wait to hear about it and see all the wild photos when they get back. I will miss you and I love you!

We welcome Connor into our family. He is so beautiful, sweet and healthy. He weighs 6lbs 11 oz and is 20 and 1/4 inches long.
Congrats, Christine and Terry. You have no idea how your luck is just starting. This baby is such a treasure. Ok, I gotta stop or I am going to cry again just thinking about it.
Christine is doing great and doesn't even look like she just had a baby. Good thing since it looked like a party in her room when I left it. I will post more pics later, and yes, Kyle, his ears look a little on the large size!

Christine is due in one week but I was hoping she would have her baby yesterday since the 17th is a great day to have a baby. I know she doesn't feel it but she looks beautiful. I can't wait for Big Jake to come along, I just hope it is real soon though I hope it doesn't happen in the middle of a hurricane. So, Christine, start walking more.

Michelle made a fabulous gumbo that has been cooking since last night and into this morning. Since she has been home, she has been cooking up a storm and we are lovin' it. We go through periods of eating good and eating out of the freezer. This is a good time right now!
On a side note, Kyle got accepted to his first college today. It is in Delaware so I am excited but it still makes me choke up to think of him going away to college. I really need to figure out a way to slow down time.....

We just want to say congratulations to John for getting hired on with United. Though he won't be working with Michelle anymore, this is a great opportunity for him and something he really wanted. It is always nice to see a hard worker get rewarded. And yes, that is Joe Frazier he is standing with.....John likes to box in his off time!

Happy Labor Day. We have had a great weekend but it went by too fast. The whole family had a feast on Thursday night eating stuffed chickens. (yum) We went see Kyle cheer with his blue boys at a game on Saturday. I have video but somehow I can't download it on here. I will have to get one of the boys to work on that. We filled out college applications with Kyle (gulp) which I mostly put out of my mind or I will go crazy. Last night, Keith and I finally celebrated our 14 years of married bliss (yeah, right!) by eating at Ruth's Chris. It was so good and they treated us like kings! Today, Keith was king of the barbeque and we ate good again. Tomorrow is back to the grind.
