Well, graduation has come and gone. It has taken me a while to blog it cause I am still trying to believe my youngest child has graduated from high school. This time seemed like so far into the future. But it was a great day and we are all so proud of our Bubba!
The ceremony was one of the quickest I have ever been to, it only lasted an hour and a half. That was with 600 hundred kids graduating.
Thanks to Aunt Kathy, we have all these great pics. Somehow, in all the excitement, I sure did not get many. We were very happy that she made it here and celebrated with us. She also was a huge help being on the decorating crew.
PaB and Aunt Christine made it in for the graduation too even though they couldn't go to the actual ceremony. They were nice enough to help put things to together while we at the school and run errands. Thanks, people for all the help.
It was a great day and I know we ate a lot of food. Now the packers are here and we are getting ready for our next journey. Kyle is excited about starting college in August and spending the summer with us. So are we!

Kyle had a Volleyball banquet last Thursday night. PaB was able to get in town just in time to make it. It was a great time and the coach had wonderful things to say about Kyle and his playing. He has only been playing for two years but he really took to it and became really good at it.
Here is Kyle with his two of his best friends on the team, Bryant and Curtis.
After the banquest, we went home and had a birthday party for Dad. We covered a lot of ground in one night but we had a great time. Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Michelle and I went get pedicures on Saturday and had a really good time. If you don't already know, I am very ticklish so every time the woman was touching my feet, I was giggling and squirming so hard and that would make Michelle laugh and it just went up from there.
I eventually got through it and Michelle and I ended up with some really pretty toes!
For Mother's Day, the kids and I went eat at Landry's which was really good and then we went see a movie. I had a great time and just enjoyed being with the kids. One of the best things I love about being with the kids is how much they make me laugh.
For Mother's Day, Michelle scrapbooked a huge card for me and all three wrote me beautiful letters telling me how special I am. That is always so humbling for me because I have a hard time seeing the person they are describing. These 3 are so much more than I deserve. The love they give me is so huge and overwhelming. And they understand the concept of love as an action word, not just something to say. They show me they love me in so many ways, by spending time with me, by always making sure that I am ok, by doing a million little things all the time. I am truly blessed. I hope all my mothers have a great day today.

Yes, more Kyle. When William was here, we asked him to take Kyle's senior pictures and he was nice enough to do so and do a fantastic job.
We went out to the Art Museum where they had these beautiful trees for a background.
William took about a 100 pictures and we whittled it down to these 4. William takes great pictures but he did have a beautiful subject.
Kyle had a good time taking them and his smile stayed true the whole time. Thanks, William, for taking such terrific pictures for Kyle.

Prom night! That same day was also a volleyball tournament so we had an extremely busy day. We were so glad that Keith came in for it. His next to last visit!
Kyle went with Kristina, a woman we all love and adore over here. Next year, she is going to school in TX and will only be 3 1/2 hours away from Kyle, so they plan to visit.
Kristina won Prom Queen and Kyle won Biggest Flirt of 2008. Don't they make quite a pair! They had a really good time and danced the night away.
Kyle is here with two of his best friends, Curtis and Bryant, that he went to prom with and also plays volleyball with.
Here is the whole crew that went in the Limo for prom.
