Tonight we had a family night...well, minus one. But the kids and I went take the Christmas picture and then went eat at Landry's. (Yummy) They are such good sports and are willing to do just about anything for me. The Christmas card is going to be absolutely beautiful this year and I think everyone is going to love it. I mean, just look at 'em.Wednesday, October 31, 2007

I came across this picture recently and it just makes me smile so much. First, cause we are so darn cute. Second, cause it was such a long time ago. Were we really that young? I don't remember the picture since I am about 2 years old in this picture. But I do remember being young with William, Marc and Jenna and not realizing at the time that I had the best friends on earth. William used to make up all kinds of games to play and I remember just always having a good time with them. If I keep reminiscing, I will tear up, so I better stop. It is just amazing how time flies.Sunday, October 21, 2007

Here are the two latest pics of cute little Connor. I think he looks the most like William but not necessarily in these pictures though he has David's lips. Of course, he is just precious!
I hear there is a big todo going on tomorrow with a gumbo involved. And cake. I hope ya'll have fun without me. I might have a little gumbo myself just so I don't feel left out. Sniff, sniff.Tuesday, October 16, 2007

Kyle had homecoming this weekend but I was fortunate that all the kids were home so we got a family pic out of the occasion.
Kyle went with his friend, Doug (one of my favorite people in the world). I have to say besides Doug being the best looking date Kyle has ever had, he is also the most personable.
They had a great time and found lots of women to dance with at Homecoming. And for those of you who know my brother, David, doesn't Kyle look just like him? Saturday, October 13, 2007
October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. My friend Valerie and I are staffing a booth for the Domestic Violence center where we volunteer. The tree behind us is a Peace tree where women write what peace means to them and we hang it up. I am overwhelmed by the responses of some of the women and how they are just looking for a safe place. Domestic Violence affects 1 out of 3 women and is on the rise for high school girls. Let's remember this and try to bring peace wherever we can to stop the violence against women.Wednesday, October 10, 2007
Hey! I'm back from Europe. We had a wonderful time!! We started out in Prague for 5 days. This is me at sunrise. The building behind me is an old church. The building to the left is also a church, but it has an astronomical clock that takes up a whole side.
This is John and I with the city behind us. We are standing on the famous Charles Bridge. We then took a flight to Brugge, Belgium.
Belgium is the chocolate capital of the world so you know I tasted some chocolate!! You can see the buildings behind me look really cool. We were there for 3 days, including Brussels. Also, the shopping was really cheap so I spent most of my time in the fitting rooms!
My hair straightner didn't work overseas, so I had to get creative in taming the hair!
After Belgium, we took a train ride to Paris for the last 5 days. I know we went there last year, but it was my favorite! John and I went to the catacombs, toured churchs, and basically just hung out all over the city. Here we just ate lunch in the eiffel tower park. We really had a great time and there will be more pics to come!

My friend, Leighton, came visit me from Chicago this weekend. We went to the Art Museum to check it out. We also did a bunch of Christmas shopping. We had a really fun day and it was great to see Leighton again.
Here are a couple of cool things we saw at the Art Museum. The mummies have real bodies in them because the x-rays of them are on the wall. I find them the most fascinating.
