This is a big pot of Gumbo that Michelle is making in Indianapolis for John and his family. Up here we are experiencing some real gumbo weather with highs in the 60's and lows in the 40's. It is only the middle of September so I am getting scared what November is going to look like. So Michelle, when you get home get ready to make me a gumbo! I am already inviting guests.

Mom.. That was one of the best gumbos i have ever made. Even his parents went back for seconds. John thanked me the reast of the day for it. I cant wait to make it when i get home!!
